As such, Alex has dedicated himself to addressing the complex nexus between transportation and climate change, seeking avenues to decarbonize transportation and energy systems while preserving economic benefits.
Currently serving as a visiting Senior Fellow at the MIT Mobility Initiative, he focuses on cleantech investments in logistics and transportation, shaping the future of sustainable mobility. Moreover, his impact extends beyond academia; Alex has played a pivotal role in incubating hundreds of leading climate tech startups at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). In addition to overseeing LACI's venture capital investments, he pioneered the LACI Cleantech Debt Fund, a groundbreaking debt solution tailored for early-stage climate tech startups.
