In February 2023, Blue Vision Capital organized a panel discussion with Louie Psihoyos, Oscar-winning director for the film The Cove, photographer for National Geographic, co-founder of Oceanic Preservation Society and climate change activist.

During this thought provoking and inspiring evening at Cinéma du Musée, Louie Psihoyos shared his work on environmental documentaries, and especially how he uses film as a powerful tool to mobilize social change and create awareness, such as in the films Racing Extinction and Game Changer. Louie also shared a preview of his upcoming film on plastic pollution, which left a lasting impression on all attendees.

"Weaponizing Art to Shape the Future" - Louie Psihoyos

We commend him on his mission to educate the public and encourage individuals to make a difference so that future generations can live in a better planet.

A special mention to Joanna Klimczak, who led an inspiring and informative panel with Louie Psihoyos and Meir Rabkin, on different ways to tackle the climate crisis and the critical role of impact investing. We would also like to thank our main sponsor Mathieu Laflamme from McCarthy Tétrault and Nassim Bennacer from EY. Thank you to all our guests who made it an unforgettable evening and let's continue to collaborate in making this world a better place.
